Nachshon
Draiman possesses the most important trait of a born entrepreneur: the
ability to look at changing trends and provide new and better solutions.
Trained in psychology and social work, Nachshon Draiman looked at the
changing lifestyle patterns in American society and figured out how to
solve a growing problem by applying modern management techniques.
Nachson Draiman studied the way that long-term care was distributed to
the elderly and infirm in the state of Illinois and believed that found
a way to improve what he saw. Over the past 20 years, he has taken over
and improved several long-term facilities and completely reorganized them
to make them work better for the people they were designed to serve.
Today, his facilities are considered models for quality geriatric long-term
care. His facilities regularly receive positive reviews from state regulatory
agencies and various associations.
Nachshon Draiman explains his position in geriatric care.
"I started in general social services but quickly moved into geriatrics,
since it was an emerging field and the programs were virtually brand new,
But even as I was learning I could also see there were ways to improve
not only the attitude of caring for the elderly but also the mechanics
of managing a facility so that less time and money could be spent on administration
and more on the direct care of the people.”
Nachshon Draiman's bottom line objective for these facilities begins with
providing quality care. “That is, after all, the purpose of these facilities.
I try to remove as much bureaucracy as I can between a resident and the
care he or she needs.”
In true entrepreneur style, Nachshon Draiman is always looking ahead and
looking for new opportunities.
Nachson Draiman has extended his successful management strategy to hotels
and other hospitality ventures as well and commercial and residential
real estate, working various partners and investors through his company,
Future Associates.
Extending that model to other areas of real estate led Nachshon Draiman
to form a utility consultancy that applies his management philosophy and
processes toward significant savings in energy and utility use. This company
is called Multiut and it negotiates contracts with gas and electricity
providers to provide gas and electrical auditing and consulting services
to save money for its customers.
"My work and my businesses have emerged from a dedicated approach
to service, simply to be of help," Nachshon Draiman says. "I
have been fortunate because I am able to follow a basic concern for the
well-being of others and making it into a successful business. It provides
a very deep satisfaction."
Nachshon Draiman is an active fundraiser for many charities and an avid
tennis player. He is a member of the Illinois Council for Long Term Care
and serves as an advocate for the elderly and disabled.
